The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the NFL has not announced the 10-game suspension, which is separate from the four-game suspension Gregory began serving after the league roster cutdown deadline Saturday afternoon.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram first reported Sunday the NFL affirmed Gregory’s four-game suspension and that he’d apparently won his appeal. However, the additional 10-game suspension wouldn’t kick in until the appeals process is complete, which it wasn’t as of early Sunday afternoon.

Gregory slid to the second round of the 2015 NFL draft in part because of drug issues, including a failed test at the scouting combine. He played in 12 games last season and didn’t record a sack.
Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain is currently serving a 10-game suspension and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is suspended the first four games of the season.
